YSLEM HIJO DEL DESIERTO (Zahodna Sahara)
sooča z okupacijo s strani sosednjega Maroka.

YSLEM HIJO DEL DESIERTO (Western Sahara)
Yslem Mohamed Salem Nafaa, better known in the musical world as Hijo del Desierto (Child of the Desert) was born in the Sahrawi refugee camps in Algeria. His musical influences range from Algerian rap and other African music to various European and American artists. At its core, however, his music is inspired by a scream for freedom and justice for his homeland Western Sahara, which has been facing an occupation by its neighbour Morocco for almost 50 years. Yslem has been living and working in Spain since 2001 and delivers his message in a combination of Spanish, English and Hassaniya – a dialect of the Arabic
language used by the Sahrawi.
